Origin

Kampot pepper is grown in the Kampot province located in the far south of Southeast Asian Cambodia.

This is an area that, thanks to its coastal climate and geological conditions, allows local farmers to produce pepper of the very highest quality in the world. It is no wonder that this pepper has received a protected geographical indication, similar to French champagne.
We purchase pepper from small family farms under direct trade conditions, which ensure fair compensation for each grower, and we strive to promote this approach among other traders.
Thanks to this, by purchasing from us, you not only get pepper of the highest quality, but also the assurance that you are buying a sustainable and morally responsible product that helps provide its producers with medical care and education for their children.

Characteristic

It is delicate and fragile, upon biting it unleashes a perfect harmony of exotic flavors in your mouth.

Compared to classic dried pepper, it differs significantly. Green pepper offers An intense peppery taste, which is gradually accompanied by notes of citrus and conifers, mutually connected by floral tones.

Processing

We pack this delicacy of the highest quality directly in Cambodia.

To the green peppercorns is added a pinch of fleur de sel obtained by evaporating seawater. The salt preserves the fresh pepper and thus ensures its absolute freshness. Thanks to this processing, the grains retain the taste of delicate green pepper just picked from the pepper vine.

Thanks to careful selection meeting the strict quality requirements for pepper exported from Kampot, set by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the best grains are handpicked. These are then vacuum-packed to preserve the quality and freshness during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further selected, packed, and delivered right to your table.

Usage

Green pepper will be loved for its mildness primarily by fans of vegetarian cuisine.

Try combining its perfect taste with dark meat, sauces, risotto or morning eggs.Soft green grains are also suitable for pasta, baking, and soups. It also pairs very well with mild cheeses, providing a sharper accompaniment.

This pepper is not suitable for grinding in a mill due to clogging the grinding mechanism. If you still want to break its outer shell, use a mortar..

Package

The pepper is still packed in Cambodia into bags of 40 and 100 grams.

Thanks to these bags, the grains retain the authentic taste and aroma of fresh Kampot pepper. In this edition, it is also stored in a luxurious sealed envelope made from extract paper. Used coffee cups are utilized for its production.

Each Package also includes a brochure that brings you the story of the world's best pepper and introduces the world of .pepper..field.

Award

Quality is our top priority, as confirmed not only by the certificates our pepper carries but also by the awards it receives from world competitions.

Among the most significant is the award given to our pepper in the competition Great Taste, one of the most prestigious competitions in the world of gastronomy.

However, sustainability is also important to us, which we do not perceive as just empty words, as demonstrated by the SDG’s award given to truly sustainable and socially responsible projects.
