Origin

Kampot pepper is grown in the Kampot province located in the far south of Southeast Asian Cambodia.

It is an area that, thanks to its coastal climate and geological conditions, allows local farmers to produce pepper of the highest quality in the world. It is not for nothing that this pepper has received a protected geographical indication, similar to French champagne.
We purchase pepper from small family farms under direct trade conditions, which guarantee a fair reward for every grower, and we strive to promote this approach among other traders as well.
Thanks to this, by purchasing from us, you get not only pepper of the highest quality but also the assurance that you are buying a sustainable and morally responsible product that helps provide its producers with medical care and education for their children.

Characteristic

The rare dark red Kampot pepper unleashes an explosion of fruity tones in the mouth accompanied by a milder spiciness.

Dark red peppercorns initially release fragrant tones of blood oranges, cranberries, and elderberry, underlined by characteristic notes of cedar and lemon balm with a subtle hint of tobacco leaves. After a while, the heart of the dark red pepper begins to emerge, reminiscent of yeast dough, new spices along with roasted malt.It is a very dense fragrance that gradually transitions into black Assam tea, and in the end, cedar tones are again manifested in it.

Processing

Dark red pepper can literally be called a selection of berries. These are strictly selected red grains achieving the highest color saturation of their peel.

It reveals a truly high fructose content and a unique taste profile of these grains that you will love.

Thanks to careful selection meeting strict quality requirements for pepper exported from Kampot, set by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the best grains are hand-picked. They are then vacuum-packed to preserve the quality and freshness during the journey to the Czech Republic, where they are further selected, packed, and delivered right to your table.

Usage

Thanks to the high fructose content, which gives the red pepper an intense fruit flavor, you can experiment with this pepper when mixing drinks or preparing sweet desserts.

Give it space during Christmas baking, it perfectly enhances the taste of fish or poultry. And surprise your guests with its refined taste and aroma.

The finer you Kampot crush the pepper, the more intense the spiciness will be, while larger fragments or whole grains will lend the dish more specific tones of pepper.

Package

Thanks to the materials used and the special bag sealing technology, air and moisture do not reach the pepper.

This allows the grains to retain the authentic taste and aroma of Kampot pepper even after opening the bag. After emptying, you can further upcycle the bags as part of sustainability and continue to use them in a variety of other ways. We pack the pepper into resealable bags ranging from 20 to 1000 grams. Each Package also includes a brochure that brings you the story of the best pepper in the world and introduces the world of .pepper..field.

Award

Quality is our top priority, as confirmed not only by the certificates our pepper carries but also by the awards it receives from global competitions.

Among the most significant is the award given to our pepper in the Great Taste competition, one of the most prestigious competitions in the world of gastronomy.

However, sustainability is also important to us, which we do not see as empty words, as demonstrated by the SDG's award given to truly sustainable and socially responsible projects.
