O značce

Opraženo is a roastery of selected coffee from the Beskydy Mountains.

For the sixth year, it has been offering customers the best coffees from around the world, always carefully selected, freshly roasted and lovingly packaged.

Characteristics

Ethiopian coffee is one of the most popular African coffees.

It is grown at higher altitudes of around 2,000 m.a.s.l. in the region. The combination of high altitude, abundant sunshine, unique and indigenous landscape varieties all contribute to the well-deserved reputation of Ethiopian coffees. Most of the local beans are hand-harvested and processed using traditional methods by small-scale farmers who avoid the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Composition

Our current Ethiopia is processed using the washed method.

Farmers hand-pick the cherries and deliver them to washing stations. Upon receipt, the cherries are visually sorted and placed on raised drying beds. The coffee is then fermented and washed in clean water. The coffee drying process takes approximately 18 days.

Usage

I like it better on a filter!

This coffee is ideal for filter preparation – whether using a V60, Chemex or French Press. It is great for a fresh morning cup or a light afternoon sip.

Awards

Great Taste Award

Our Ethiopia has earned the prestigious Great Taste Award for its balanced floral flavor, delicate sweetness and fresh fruity undertones. This certificate is an international confirmation of exceptional quality and the careful work of farmers and roasters.
