The set includes our double Grinder and two basic types of Kampot pepper.
The Grinder combines quality materials, practicality, and smart design. Its greatest feature is its construction, which includes two chambers and two grinding mechanisms. It can thus be filled with two kinds of Kampot pepper – either pepper or Kampot salt – making it a very practical tool for cooking or seasoning dishes right at the table.
The pepper mill is 23 centimeters tall and fits perfectly in the hand. For maximum practicality, each end is equipped with a special cap to always preserve the freshness of the pepper and prevent any impurities from getting in.
This set also includes two 50g Package packs of individual types of Kampot pepper of your choice. You can choose between black, red, and white. They differ in flavor and aroma, which are hardly found in pepper bought from regular supermarkets.
Black pepper After grinding, it releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme, accompanied by the scent of lime peels. These gradually flow into a coastal aroma with emerging fruity tones. The dominant aroma is that of peach and nectarine, complemented by the scent of pine and earthy tones reminiscent of Cambodian mountain soil full of minerals.
Rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity notes with a milder spiciness. Initially, notes of rose and rosehip dominate, which then transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more distinctive aromas for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and the earthier crust of sourdough bread.
White pepper is a gentle, yet still peppery caress for the taste buds. After grinding, aromas of camphor, sage, and cedarwood develop, accompanied by a subtle fragrance of nutmeg blossom, grapefruit, and other citrus. After several minutes in the mouth, you can detect notes of nutmeg, thyme blossom, and lemon balm, underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.
