The set includes our double Grinder and two basic types of Kampot pepper.

Grinder combines quality materials, practicality, and a good design. The biggest highlight is its construction, which immediately includes two chambers and two grinding mechanisms. It can thus be filled with two types of Kampot pepper or with pepper and salt from Kampot, making it a very practical tool for cooking or seasoning dishes right at the table.

The body of the grinder is 23 centimeters tall and fits perfectly in the hand. For maximum practicality, each end is fitted with a special cap to always preserve the freshness of the pepper and prevent any impurities from entering.

The set also includes two 50g Package of individual types of Kampot pepper of your choice. You can choose between black, red, and white. They differ in their taste and aroma, which you will hardly find in pepper bought in regular supermarkets.

Black pepper after grinding releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme accompanied by the scent of lime peels. These gradually flow into a fresh aroma with developing fruity tones. The dominant notes are of peach and nectarine, accompanied by hints of pine and earthy tones reminiscent of mineral-rich Cambodian mountain soil.

Rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity tones with a milder kick. Initially, notes of rose and rosehip dominate, which then transition into dried cherry flavors. After two to three minutes, more characteristic aromas for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and an earthier crust of sourdough bread.

White pepper is a gentle yet still peppery caress for your taste buds. After grinding it, aromas of camphor, sage, and cedar wood unfold, accompanied by a subtle scent of nutmeg flower, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in your mouth, you can detect tones of nutmeg, thyme flower, and lemon balm underpinned by the aroma of cedar and black tea.

Grinding mechanism

Inside the grinder there are two ceramic CeraCut® mechanisms.

This is a technology developed in Germany that guarantees that pepper and salt will always crushed to absolute perfection. The grind coarseness can be adjusted for each grinder, while the mechanism is capable of crushing peppercorns or salt crystals up to 5 millimeters in size.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind coarseness of the pepper, you affect its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the taste of the pepper it will be. On the contrary, larger fragments will impart more of the specific exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use your bare hands, but pour the restless little balls directly from the package into the chamber, and help yourself with a spoon or funnel. Also, do not forget your Grinder to clean regularly. However, never use water or chemical agents for this. A cloth is enough, a brush and a drop of olive oil. Always keep it away from the sink and handle it carefully when operating it above steam.

Materials

For the production of this grinder, we used promotional wood with an impeccable pattern that will become the ornament of every kitchen counter or dining table.

For this reason, we left the wood in its natural color and only treated it with a protective lacquer. We combined the wood with stainless steel, which guarantees the grinder extreme durability that, when properly maintained, will last an eternity.
