Characteristic

Perfect Grinder, thanks to which you have freshly ground pepper or salt immediately at hand, or even two types of unique Kampot pepper.

Within moments, you can unleash a game of incredible flavors and aromas of pepper in your kitchen, which is part of Package.

The set includes our dual Grinder and two basic types of Kampot pepper. Grinder combines high-quality materials, practicality, and a well-executed design. Its greatest feature is its construction, which includes two chambers and two grinding mechanisms. It can thus be filled with two types of Kampot pepper – i.e., pepper and salt from Kampot – making it a very practical tool for cooking or seasoning dishes right at the table.

This grinder is 23 centimeters tall and fits perfectly in your hand. For maximum practicality, each end is equipped with a special cap to always preserve the freshness of the pepper and prevent any impurities from getting in.

This set also includes two 20g Package of individual types of Kampot pepper of your choice. You can choose between black, red, and white. They differ in their flavor and aroma, which you can hardly find in pepper purchased at regular supermarkets.

Black pepper After grinding, it releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor, and thyme, accompanied by the scent of lime peels. These gradually evolve into a more direct aroma with unfolding fruity notes. The dominant scent is that of peach and nectarine, which is accompanied by hints of pine and earthy tones of Cambodian mountain soil rich in minerals.

Rare red pepper It is an explosion of fruity notes with a milder spiciness. At first, notes of rose and rosehip dominate, which then transition into dried cherry nuances. After two to three minutes, more distinctive aromas for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and the earthiness of sourdough bread.

White pepper It is a gentle yet consistently peppery caress for your taste buds. Once ground, it releases aromas of camphor, sage, and cedar wood, accompanied by a delicate scent of nutmeg blossom, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. After a few minutes in the mouth, you can detect notes of nutmeg, thyme blossom, and lemon balm, underscored by aromas of cedar and black tea.

Grinding mechanism

Inside the grinder, there are no less than two ceramic devices CeraCut®.

This is a technology developed in Germany that guarantees that pepper and salt will always crushed to absolute perfection. The coarseness of the grind can be adjusted on each grinder, while the mechanism is able to crush peppercorns or salt crystals up to 5 millimeters in size.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind coarseness of the pepper, you affect its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the pepper taste will. On the contrary, larger fragments impart more of the distinctive exotic tones of Kampot pepper to the dish.

When filling the grinder, never use bare hands, but pour the unruly little pellets into the chamber directly from the package, and help yourself with a spoon or funnel. At the same time, don't forget your Grinder to clean regularly. However, never use water or chemical products for that. A cloth will do, a brush, and a drop of olive oil. Grinder always keep it away from the sink and handle it carefully over the steam.

Materials

For the production of this mill, we used premium wood with a perfect grain that will become an ornament to every kitchen counter or dining table.

For this reason, we left the wood in its natural color and only treated it with a protective varnish. We combined the wood with stainless steel, ensuring the mill’s extreme durability that, when properly maintained, will last an eternity.
