Characteristic

Ethiopian coffee is among the most popular African coffees.

Ethiopian coffee is among the most popular African coffees.
It is grown at high altitudes of around 2,000 m a.s.l. in the Sidamo region.
The combination of altitude, intense sunshine, and indigenous local varieties contributes to its exceptional flavor profile.

Most of the coffee beans are hand-harvested and processed using traditional methods by small farmers who avoid the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers.

Ingredients

Our Ethiopia is processed using the washed method.

Farmers manually harvest ripe cherries and deliver them to washing stations, where they are carefully sorted and dried on raised beds. Subsequently, fermentation and washing in clean water take place. Drying takes approximately 18 days.

Usage

I taste best when brewed using a filter!

This coffee is ideal for filter brewing – whether with a V60, Chemex, or French Press.
It is perfect for an invigorating morning cup as well as a light afternoon drink.
