Composition

This set includes 50 grams of black pepper and 120g of coarse sea salt.

Black pepper, which when ground releases notes of eucalyptus, camphor and thyme, accompanied by the scent of lime peel. These gradually shift into coastal aromas with developing fruity tones. The dominant aroma is of peach and nectarine, accompanied by pine scents and earthy notes from Cambodia’s mineral-rich hills.

You’ll also receive 120g of coarse sea salt from the heart of the Kampot province. It achieves its exceptional qualities thanks to gentle and ecological processing, unchanged for centuries – the only method local farmers have ever used, relying solely on clean seawater, sun, and wind.

Thanks to Kampot’s unique microclimate, this sea salt is enriched with over 70 minerals and trace elements, which are naturally absorbed by the body and contribute to your well-being.

This high-quality, unrefined sea salt has a higher nutritional value and enhances the flavor properties of any ingredient. It’s suitable for everyday cooking: for salting, as a topping for bread, for pickling or preserving meat, fish, vegetables, in marinades, on steaks, or even for less traditional uses like salt crust baking or grilling.

On one side, there’s pepper often called the champagne among peppers. With its outstanding quality, it’s considered the best in the world and enhances every dish. On the other side is hand-harvested salt from sea salinas, created by nothing but the power of the sun.

Pepper and salt, of course, need mills. In this set, you’ll find two mills 17 centimeters tall, made from natural hardwood and equipped with a perfect grinding mechanism that lets you easily adjust the coarseness. This way, you can unlock all the flavors and aromas hidden inside the peppercorns and salt crystals.

The design of the mills was created to fit perfectly in your hand and be easy to use. We intentionally chose contrasting colors for easy identification – black for the pepper mill and light natural wood for the salt mill. But you don’t have to stop there – this color combination can be complemented with other colorful mills from our range.

Maintenance

By adjusting the grind size of the pepper, you influence its flavor profile.

The smaller the fragments, the sharper the pepper’s taste will be. On the other hand, larger fragments will transfer more of the exotic and specific notes of Kampot pepper into your dish.

When filling the grinder, never use bare hands– pour the peppercorns directly into the chamber from the packaging using a spoon or funnel. Also, don’t forget to clean your grinder regularly. Never use water or chemical products.A cloth, a small brush and a drop of olive oil are all you need. Always keep the grinder away from the sink and be careful when using it over steam.

Material

Both grinders are made from natural ash wood with a unique grain,
which is enhanced by a special surface treatment.

This ensures the lasting beauty of the grinder, as well as its durability, meaning it will serve you for a lifetime.

The grinders together with the pepper are stored in a special cardboard box made from recycled materials. The lid of the box can be engraved to give the set a truly personal touch. The choice of material is no coincidence. Not only does the box look great, but it can also be easily recycled or upcycled.

This mechanism can grind peppercorns or salt evenly across 14 levels of coarseness. The entire patented mechanism is covered by a 25-year warranty, giving you peace of mind that this grinder is built to last.
